does anyone know what kind of chain i need to get? the chain broke the master link off and i dont know the size or any other specs

I love this Pegasus ebike from SnapCycle! Despite the cold and windy weather conditions, it allows me to effortlessly reach my destinations. Riding it is incredibly enjoyable, and the fact that I no longer have to purchase gas fills me with exhilaration. I enthusiastically endorse it to anyone contemplating its purchase, as I'm confident they won't regret it.

Rides smooth. Easy to put together. My only problem is that It is to tall for me. My husband holds it steady while I get on and gives me a push to get started. I am 5’8”.

Battery life is awesome. Power is more than enough. I was a little hesitant since I am only 5’2” but getting off and on isn’t too big of a deal. Just took a little practice. I put some foot pegs on the back and my daughter loves sitting on the back rack and going on rides with me. Would be awesome if Snapcycle comes up with a kid hauler basket accessory. Overall, very happy with it!!

I haven’t seen my bike yet it’s still at the bicycle shop to get put together I won’t get it until 26 July and when I do I will write or email you and let you know how I love my bike.

Been looking at several different ebike brands over the past year. Was expected to purchase a different brand when visiting the store when the Snapcycle step-through caught me eye. I rode three different bikes and chose the Snapcycle as it had the most comfortable ride, great power and features. Been a great bike so far.

Bought two Snapcycle bikes from a local dealer for my wife and daughter. Both love the power and battery life the bike offers.

To start with, YES!. I had not ridden a bike since I was 10. I wasn't sure if I had the balance to do it. Got this bike maybe a week ago, have had to recharge it two times, so I've been riding a lot. The 'step-thru' is not too high, and what was a 'girl's bike' last time I rode is now an old man's ride! It came together quite easily, with the only problem being to align the plastic front fender: it doesn't want to be straight. The bike is solid, came in extremely well-packed (Fed Ex damaged one end and had holes in the box: NO DAMAGE to the bike). It was easy to unlock the speed limit, using the black-and-white display. I am 235 pounds, (6' 1") so I have gotten only to 27 mph! The brakes are excellent. The seat...well....it should be an embarassment to SNAP for opting to cheapen their bike with such a poor, bad seat. I had to order another online after just a few miles. This thing is TERRIBLE. It would behoove SNAP to charge $40 more initially than to send out such an inferior item as this "seat". The bike itself is solid: do not fret, if you are, about the 'heavy weight' of fat tire bikes. Your car isn't picked up by you, and weighs maybe 4000 pounds! You don't have to pick up the bike, either, and it is easy to wheel about and position as you like before taking off. SNAP charges NO sales tax: this adds to their value. Their choice of only one color detracts from the appeal of buying from them. The tires are beautiful, and have a nice light colored sidewall. The motor is quiet, as are the brakes. It is a joy to just put it in PAS 5 and gear 3, and then NEVER have to shift or change anything, nor use the throttle. I just get aimed, set the display to 5 and 3, then push 15 minutes (a quarter turn) forward on the chain clock, and the motor takes over. I can go 5 miles an hour, or up to top speed by just pedaling or coasting or lightly continually pedalling on a nice straight-away. You don't have to give this gas (throttle!), and it takes off as slowly as you wish. For seniors like myself, this makes it easy. I used a code and got $60 off. I would have bought two, but that was the extent of their offers that I could find. Their 48-volt battery and low amperage kind of turned me off, so instead of buying two, I opted to give this to my wife ( she is 5'6" and has ridden it) , and ordered a yet-to-come Kepler 52-Volt, 20 Amp bike. It was a bit higher, and they charged sales tax, but I got the two for under $3900, but also, due to reviews, have now ordered a new seat for the Kepler, too. You can't please everybody, I know, but these bike guys could stand above the crowd if they had a bike that was comfortable right out of the box. I do recommend the Snapcycle, however. They had them on hand, shipped quickly, and I like the way the bike looks, handles, and feel that my expectations for it were fully met. Charge time initally was probably 6 hours, by the way. I'd love to review their next model of this, as I think they are on the right path to take over the 26" x 4" sales category.

I got an R1 for myself and an R1 step through for my wife. We are retired, and enjoying our new bikes all the time now. The bikes are so robust, and we love that there are both pedal assist and throttle modes available. Outdoor adventures have never been the same, I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

My other half has an R1 and I felt like I was really missing out on the fun he’s having. I wanted to get an identical one to match his, but upon trying his model a few times I found that I couldn’t get on or off the bike as comfortably as I hoped. I convinced him to get me a step through instead, and I’m relieved to find that it’s much more comfortable for me to mount and dismount without that beam in the middle. Now I can hit the road with the hubs!

100 miles in my first week with the r1. Seriously impressed with the performance and ease of use. Setup was soooo simple with the instructional video. Took about half an hour and I was on the road. I have not enjoyed the wind in my face for a long time. Felt so safe and stable even when riding on bumpy terrain. All in all, I could not be happier with this new bike. I’m getting great exercise (you DO have to pedal, by the way) and enjoying new sights and sounds everyday.

Snapcycle, you guys have outdone yourselves. Your bikes are life changing, I commute to work daily on my R1 and turn heads wherever I go, it feels amazing. I’m also getting some exercise in while managing to avoid getting to work all hot and sticky, my secret is dialing down the pedal assist to the point that it’s just right for a morning ride. The bike’s design blends in nicely with the urban landscape and is really just a perfect transport alternative for the footprint-conscious consumer. I highly recommend picking up a bike from these folks, they were responsive and professional with my shipping enquiries.

Got myself a Snapcycle R1. It’s a powerful bike, and looks so good that people keep stopping me to ask what i’m riding and where I got it from. Love it, and will be recommending it to my friends.

We have bought 2 snap cycle step thru bikes. The first to see if we wanted a second. They went together very easy, no adjustments needed except for seat and handle bars. We have close to 500 miles on them with no problems. Only thing I wish we could do is raise the handle bars up a couple of inches.
